KB00004: Which platforms are supported by the client?

Description

Which platforms are supported by EventMaster? Specifically, on which operating systems can you install the EventMaster client (along with the MessageMaster client), and have it send event log information to the server.

Resolution

EventMaster archives the event logs on:

• Windows 2003 Server
• Windows 2000 Server
• Windows XP Home and Professional
• Windows 2000 Professional

We do not support the Windows NT 4.0 platform at this time. However we have a planned enhancement for the next release that will support NT 4.0 with AD Client Extensions installed.
